Cornwall 2nd XV Competition

The newly formed Cornwall 2nd XV Competition has a league of nine teams. Stithians are the only 1st team, the rest are reserve sides from other clubs around the county. This provides for sixteen fixtures throughout the season. Clubs that have 2nd XVs in the league system already are not involved.

This a welcome return of reserve team rugby. St Ives' first fixture is against Newquay Hornets IIs on Saturday 24th September at home. Clubs will need to work hard to recruit and retain enough fit and available players to make this league a success.
