Strong Squad for Truro
Head coaches Paul Thirlby and Rob Elloway have announced a strong squad to tackle their visit to local rivals Truro tomorrow.
Truro have not had a happy time of it in 2018, with four loses, two of which were at home. Two games in February brought a partial return to form with an away win at Falmouth and a home draw against Paignton 31:31.
St Ives recorded a 41:19 victory over Truro early in November, the first game of their magnificent run of wins. However, last season The Hakes made two ill-fated visits to the county capital in league and cup.
Devonport should beat Wadebridge on home soil, while St Austell are less certain of points at Crediton. But it is up to St Ives to maintain top spot status and a ten point gap with their nearest contenders.
The team has a familiar look. Over confidence will need to be played down. Think on England's effort north of the border last weekend. On second thoughts don't, but it does serve as a stark reminder that nothing should be taken for granted.
Now that the Beast and Emma have largely disappeared, tomorrow should be 'on' and a good game is in prospect. One not to be missed!
Kick off is at 2:30pm and the full squad is:
